Embedded Software Test Engineer

In the role of Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating our customers' projects by utilizing various automated testing tools and data acquisition instruments. This includes creating test plans and cases, analyzing requirements, building testing systems, implementing Continuous Integration (CI), and conducting fault tracing and debugging.

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, your role is to identify and resolve faults in embedded systems. You will also be responsible for documenting and summarizing test coverage and defects. It is your responsibility to diagnose issues, communicate them, and propose solutions to ensure that the system functions at high-quality levels. You will be required to escalate complex bug reports to the development team and work closely with QA Engineers and Embedded Software Developers to create effective testing strategies and plans. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the embedded aspects of the system are fully functional and defect-free.

We are seeking individuals who have relevant industry experience in embedded software testing, from unit testing to system integration testing and CI. Candidates should possess working knowledge of tests and measurements on physical hardware and firmware, such as C/C++, Python, Robot framework, and Linux. Additionally, familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Repo tool, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Artifactory is preferred. Fluency in both Swedish and English (both written and verbal) is required.

And experience with any of the following is meritorious: Labview, CANoe, HIL, BLE, as well as general automotive experience.
