Outsourcing
As we are observing a growing need for cost-effective testing, House of Test is also prepared to provide companies with outsourced testing services through our China branch office. We are able to take on full responsibility for specific parts of your testing activities, either by offshore testing or by bringing onboard highly qualified consultants to work onsite. Part of our outsourcing strategy is a long term commitment to build a sustainable and evolving offshore organization, characterized by the same set of core values as our Swedish division, focusing on quality, staff competence development and reliable communication over anonymous resource management. This strategy is held in place by our Scandinavian staff manager working onsite in China. From our outsourcing location in China, we're able to offer all the range of our services. Our services range from test execution, to test design and complete test management. For a more detailed presentation of our services, see the "Services Overview" in the menu to the right. Moving to an outsourcing solution, House of Test uses a staged approach with well defined milestones to ensure that both the customer and House of Test are aligned in the requirements and expectations. During this process, consultants from House of Test can also assist locally in the Öresund region. Why Outsourcing?House of Test does not see outsourcing as a goal in itself, but a means to an end. Testing is benefited by an external point of view, adding more of a customer focus than an internal team sometimes can offer. With an outsourcing partner, risks and rewards can be shared making new opportunities possible. An outsourcing partner can also provide a greater flexibility and scalability making it easier to manage upturns and downturns in the market. Why China? The Chinese government has recognized the great potential for high value IT services in China and put a lot of effort into facilitating this. China has a highly educated workforce and is graduating some 400000 students each year from universities. China also has a very well developed infrastructure, both in regards to the intranet and to transportation and communication. There are a several high-tech zones in China where the government offers subsidies. In these areas many high-tech companies, both local and foreign, are located, building a culture and experience in working with IT and IT services. |
