Robert to present at Software Passion Summit

Robert Bergqvist will hold a presentation on "Scaling up the combinatorial test" at the Software Passion Summit 2012 in Gothenburg March 19th-20th.

Software projects today are often complex and are dealing with a lot of different data. The amount of possible data combinations is most often too large to test manually. Maybe not all of the data combinations are risky or critical, so by using heuristics, risk analysis, test design techniques and checklists of different quality criteria's, we can try to run the most important scenarios and get as good test coverage as possible. In his presentation, Robert will describe a strategy for how to design and create combinatorial tests based on his own experience from testing a REST API.

The Software Passion Summit is a gathering of software professionals from every part of Scandinavia and the world. As software has become more pervasive and important as well as more complex and challenging, there is a growing need for software professionals to come together, meet, and exchange ideas. [2012-01-24] Carsten to arrange first DWET

DWET stands for "Dansk Workshop om Exploratory Testing", i.e. a Danish workshop about ET. DWET is a peer conference for testers with experience or interest in exploratory testing. DWET aims at exchange and discuss experiences within ET, not to discuss whether ET is better than other approaches.
